Handover of Joint Paper on Indicators to Austrian Presidency 14 June 2018

Industry4Europe today presented the Austrian Presidency of the EU with the 'Setting Indicators' Joint Paper.

Holding the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Austria is steering the direction of EU policy in the second half of 2018. 

Representatives of the Austrian Presidency met with members of Industry4Europe to hear about the latest Joint Paper from the coalition.

The 'Setting Indicators' Joint Paper presented by the Coalition highlights the need for any ambitious EU Industrial Strategy to be grounded in fact-based analysis of the greater economic, social and environmental trends that manufacturing exists within.

The Joint Paper cements Industry4Europe's position whilst providing ever greater detail on practical solutions for the implementation of an ambitious, practical and realistic EU Industrial Strategy.
